CRITICISM CITY SPACE ARCHITECTURE: A CASE STUDY FISH LANDING STATION OF PAOTERE, MAKASSAR CITY

Makassar City as the capital city of South Sulawesi province has potential and opportunity to develop its fishery industry become center largest in Eastern Indonesia. One fishing ports is a Paotere fish landing station. The station northern part located on Jl. Sabutung I No.3, Kelurahan Gusung, Ujung Tanah District, port that many activities related auction needs, such auction, unloading, ship supplies. This study aims identify base areas Makassar, general, can be reference for Government determining development strategies planning designing bases cities. based rationalistic descriptive paradigm with normative architectural criticism approach which refers urban design elements Hamid Shirvani's theory (grand concept / grand theory). results this indicate need redesigning area city.
